Gnjilane. A hand grenade was thrown into the house of Democratic Party
functionary Milorad Todorovic in the village of Cernica, close to Gnjilane,
on Saturday evening, Serbian B92 radio reported.
No people were injured in the explosion. Only Milorad Todorovic’s father –
Slobodan – was in the house at the time of the attack.
Milorad Todorovic was an adviser of the former minister for Kosovo Slobodan
Samardzic. This is not the first time that a hand grenade is thrown into his
house. The attackers have not been found.
Seven Serbs were killed in the village of Cernica a few years after the war
in Kosovo and dozens of people were injured. Some 30 Serbian families and
hundreds of Albanian families are living in the village.
