| “So unacceptable”: American Airlines passenger forced to crawl off plane
after wheelchair never arrives |

| |

| Susan Grove posted a now-viral video showing her daughter, who has special
needs, crawling off an American Airlines flight. The text overlay read, “The
Aisle Chair never came, so our special needs daughter had to crawl off the
plane.” The mother added in the caption, “This cannot happen to special needs
people/families.” The video quickly gained traction, reaching over 17.8 million
views and 1.2 million likes.

Grove explained in the comments that carrying her daughter wasn’t an option.
“We tried to carry her, but she is 150 pounds and carrying her down the small
aisles is very difficult,” she wrote.  |

| Alaskan town launches cars off a cliff in lieu of fireworks for the 4th of
July: “I’ve been celebrating wrong this whole time” |

| |

| Most towns in the United States launch fireworks to celebrate the 4th of
July. However, one small community in Alaska launches cars off the side of a
cliff during their Independence Day celebrations.

The sun goes down in Glacier View, Alaska, around 11:30 p.m. on the 4th of
July. Due to the late sunset, those celebrating the holiday can’t enjoy
fireworks until the early hours of the following morning.

So, to inspire a comparable level of excitement, the town has launched old cars
off the side of a cliff every year since 2005. Onlookers watch as the cars
tumble down the cliff while celebrating the holiday. |
