American Airlines CEO faces no-confidence vote from union

The Association of Professional Flight Attendants has unanimously passed
a vote of no confidence in American Airlines CEO Robert Isom, citing
financial losses, operational failures and a disconnect between
executive and employee compensation. "From abysmal profits earned to
operational failures that have front-line workers sleeping on floors,
this airline must course-correct before it falls even further behind,"
APFA President Julie Hedrick says. "This level of failure begins at the
very top, with CEO Robert Isom." American Airlines has not yet commented
on the vote.
