American Airlines, Alaska talk transatlantic integration

American Airlines and Alaska Air Group are in early discussions to expand their 
partnership by potentially integrating Alaska into American's transatlantic and 
transpacific joint ventures with airlines such as British Airways, Iberia, 
Finnair and Japan Airlines. The move would deepen their collaboration beyond 
codesharing, enhancing international route coordination and revenue sharing.
