Please don't attach files when posting on Cooker, they all get scrambled
and therefore unusable. Please make the files downloadable for me on a
web site, or send them directly to me via e-mail. If it does not
infringe the license of the files, I can make them available on
linuxprinting.org and/or in the distro.
To use a PostScript Level I printer, choose an arbitrary PostScript
printer (does not need to be yours) with "GhostScript + Postscript" in
Printerdrake (Expert mode) or with "Foomatic + Postscript" in the KDE
Printing Manager. Under the options you will find a "GhostScript
pre-filtering" option. Set it to "Convert to PS level 1". Then
GhostScript will convert all jobs to PostScript Level I before they are
sent to the printer. Then you should be able to print.
