Hi everybody, i hope you had a super sweet weekend! :) This Tuesday, Feb. 20th: #1 - City Council Meeting @ 7:00pm @ 351 W. Center St. Here's the main things on the agenda:
* Public Hearing for $12.5 million bond for the Freedom Academy charter school ( http://provofreedomacademy.org ) * Proposal for Parking Permit Program for area between Center St. to 960 N. and from University Ave to 900 E. * Public Hearings for budget appropriations for the Fire, Police, Water and Wastewater departments, etc, totaling over $1M. * Public Hearings for Redevelopment Agency budget appropriation of $100,000 & to purchase 303 W. 100 N. * Public Hearing to amend zoning to allow Assisted Living Facilities in the downtown business district. To get the details see the attached agenda. The Parking Permit Program sounds like the hottest item to me though others might say the $12.5M bond is. #2 - Council Study Meeting (no public hearings or binding votes) @ 6:00pm See the agenda in case anything interests you like the library grant.
