Please check this out + inform all of your neighbors that love
Bicentennial Park
(in the southeast part of town) --
sorry this is short notice but apparently they didn't even give the
neighborhood chair or a volunteer park improvement organizer more than 5
days notice on it.

Anyway, check this out! Important stuff if you live in SE Provo or love
Bicentennial Park and/or your neighbors there.
Thanks!

Hello neighbors,

This Thursday the fate of our closest city park - Bicentennial Park -
hangs in the balance. What will appear? Soccer fields? Frisbee golf?
Walking paths? Tennis or other amenities?

It all depends on you.

The city wants to know what the neighborhood wants - and we need to tell
them! Come to the Spring Creek Elementary gym this Thursday, March 6th
at 6:30 p.m. Spring Creek is located at 1740 South Nevada Ave., up the
hill from the Juvenile Detention Facility.

If we don't let the city know what we would like to see happen at the
park, they will decide without us! Let's not let that happen!

Bicentennial Park is located at 1600 E. 1440 S. in Provo, right off of
State St. If you haven't been there yet, go for a walk, play with your
dog, or take your kids to the playground.

See you at the neighborhood meeting on Thursday!

Thank you,
Katrina McKnight

P.S. I don't have very many email addresses in the neighborhood, so
please forward this to all of the neighbors you can. Thanks!
