Hi everybody, if you haven't seen this already from pmn.utah.gov, here's
the main body of the agendas for tonight's city council meetings. The
main meeting is at 7:00pm as usual but the study meeting at 5:30pm has
some interesting items too.
There are items on iProvo(Broadweave), a proposal for South Joaquin
Parking Permits being withdrawn, increasing the maximum booting fee, and
some $50,000 of taxpayers' dollars to be decided on.

Action Agenda:
A. A resolution appointing election poll workers and designating
polling places for municipal primary and general elections to be held in
Provo City on September 15, 2009 and November 3, 2009.
B. A resolution withdrawing a proposal to create a permit parking
area in the South Joaquin Neighborhood.
C. An ordinance amending Section 9.32.140 (Parking Enforcement and
Towing Operations) of the Provo City Code to modify the maximum booting
fee.
D. A public hearing to consider a resolution reducing appropriations
in the Economic Development Division of the General Fund operating
budget by $205,000 and applying to the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.

E. A public hearing to consider a resolution appropriating $50,000 in
the Tax Increment Fund for operating expenses and applying to the fiscal
year ending June 30, 2010.

NOTE: There's no "public hearing" listed for Item C -- increasing the
maximum booting fee. I would encourage you to ask the city council to
have a public hearing on it if they haven't already -- don't have time
to research it to see if they already have.
