I hope you're having a most excellent spring! :) What's new with me? I'm enjoying working at one of Provo's finest companies to work for (Bluehost.com <http://bluehost.com>), and I'm looking forward to tomorrow's Bike to Work Day <http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=107556175935111> and the Bikebecue, <http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=104950762883589> heck yes! :)

Anyway, here's why I'm emailing -- that's right it's time for another friendly neighborhood reminder about tomorrow's city council meetings with the usual *Public Comments* slot as well as a few Public Hearings!

City Council Meeting, May 18th @ 7:00pm @ 351 W. Center St.

This time has been set aside for any person to express ideas, concerns, comments, questions or issues that are not on the agenda. . Please state your name and city of residence into the microphone. . Please limit your comments to three minutes. . State Law prohibits the Council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda.
       . In this form of government, all City administrative personnel are 
under the direction of the Mayor, not the Council. Please discuss any concerns 
you may have regarding administrative staff with the Mayor, Chief 
Administrative Officer, or Department Directors.

The Council respectfully requests that citizens help maintain the decorum of 
the meeting by turning off electronic devices, refraining from applauding, and 
being respectful during the proceedings of the meeting.

C.  a public hearing relating to the issuance of up to $9 million of Storm 
Water revenue and refunding bonds; and related matters.

D.  a resolution authorizing the issuance of up to $9 million of Storm Water 
revenue and refunding bonds and authorizing the execution and delivery of 
certain documents in connection with the bonds; and related matters.

E. a resolution approving the issuance by the city of up to $9 million of Storm Water revenue and refunding bonds and authorizing the execution and delivery of certain documents in connection with the bonds; and related matters.
PROVO MUNICIPAL COUNCIL

F.      Grant Appropriations:
1. 2009 Assistance to Firefighters Grant A public hearing to consider a resolution appropriating $166,167 in the Fire Department of the General Fund for operational expenses and applying to the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.
2.      2010 Emergency Management Performance Grant
A public hearing to consider a resolution appropriating $14,500 in the Fire 
Department of the General Fund for operational expenses and applying to the 
fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.
3.      Community Library Enhancement Grant
A public hearing to consider a resolution appropriating $28,261 in the Library 
Fund for operational expenses and applying to the fiscal year ending June 30, 
2010.

G.  a resolution consenting to the appointment of David Bailey to the Civil 
Service Commission.

8. Adjourn

The next regular Council Meeting will be held on June 1, 2010  at 7:00 p.m. in 
Council Chambers, 351 West Center Street, Provo, unless otherwise noticed.
