I've spent the last couple weeks migrating the handler database to a MySQL
database instead of a Berkeley DB. I just did the switch, so you may
experience a little turbulence. :) Let me know...

NEW FEATURES:
- The MySQL database is faster and more reliable. (We were having infrequent
but annoying database corruptions in the old system.)
- Browse the handler database using phpMyAdmin!
Point your browser to http://handlers.newsclipper.com/dbadmin and
enter "webuser" and "" as the username and password. You can select
the 1_00 handler database or the 1_18 handler database on the left, and
browse it in the main panel.
- The handler code is stored directly in the database, as well as the status
of the handler. The search form on the handlers webpage has been updated
  for these new fields.
- The handler submission process and the database are completely compatible
with both the present 1.00 style as well as the upcoming 1.18 style.
However, as soon as 1.18 is released, the web pages will be modified to
  reflect only the 1.18 handlers.
- Searching has been improved. You can use "+" and "-" for mandatory present
(and not present) terms. Dated fields like "Created" and "Modified" can be
search like "since yesterday" and "between 1/2/2000 and 2/2/2000". Numeric
fields like "Downloads" can be searched like "> 500" and "top 20". Searches
like "term1 term2" return results that match either term.

Regards,
David
