There’s no sign of 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings today, but we’re getting quite an ugly picture of her father, Ron Cummings.
Now his ex-wife is talking about an abusive past. She claims he slapped her around and punched her while she was pregnant. She also says she’s heard stories of him being violent with Haleigh, knocking her face-first into a porch. Haleigh’s father denies ever hitting anyone. But her grandmother has a picture showing Haleigh with a black eye. I’ll ask her about that because she will join us on the show. And you can call in or e-mail with your questions and comments too. 1-877-TELL-HLN (877-835-5456) or cnn.com/primenews For the second time in months, we have kids accused of grabbing guns and blowing adults away. First, we heard about an 8-year-old accused of killing his dad and a tenant in Arizona. This time it’s an 11-year-old boy from Pennsylvania. Police say he killed his dad’s pregnant fiancée. Her 4-year-old daughter found the body. We’ll find out what happened. I’d also love to hear what you think about “Octodad” coming forward… Nadya Suleman’s ex-boyfriend says he thinks he’s the father of all 14 kids. This guy is married with kids of his own. Why is he going on national T.V. and demanding a DNA test? You’ll want to stay tuned for his side of the story. And wait until I tell you about a pair of corrupt judges pocketing more than two million dollars in kickbacks for punishing teens. We’re talking petty crimes, like stealing loose change and setting up a fake MySpace page. But these kids got hauled off to juvenile detention for months. And this scheme goes back years. How’d they get away with it? It’s about show time, so I’ll see you at 5p Eastern. -Mike Galanos • Prime News/Prime Views • Top videos today at cnn.com/primenews 1. Can I renegotiate my mortgage? 2. Anthony home 'linked to crime' 3. Did cops use excessive force? • Get financial advice from CNN's Chief Business Correspondent Ali Velshi. Watch him answer viewer calls and e-mails on previous "Help Line" segments and submit your own money questions at cnn.com/primenews. • "Prime News" investigates. Richelle Carey digs deep to get you the facts on interesting stories across the country at cnn.com/primenews. You have agreed to receive this email from CNN.com as a result of your CNN.com preference settings.
