<b>WHAT A WHACKED OUT WEEK!</b>

Tiger was back on the links, only 10 of my cable channels featured the
"Octumom" story, and most importantly, <b>we had some snow here in the ATL…
almost 1-inch</b>!

I'm a "southerner" - by the grace of God - so I've seen this kind of panic
before… <b>"Quick, to the Piggly Wiggly! The blizzard's coming!"</b>

But if you live up north, you must be wondering why every freaking grocery
store down here was packed!? And you'd probably get a big chuckle at some of
the southern "snow jam" iReports we got: <b>One-inch of snow on your car? Oh
the humanity</b>!

Don't get me wrong, we love your stuff and we count on it each week here on
"News To Me", but <b>what about that shot of you sledding down a monster hill
going 60-miles-per-hour, jumping over a massive flowing river as you wave to
Yeti down below</b>? I’d love to see THAT! ;-)

<b>(Eric's opinion in no way reflects how "News to Me" feels about viewers with
1-inch of snow on their cars!)</b>

Well I can't wait to see what next week brings, maybe rain? I'm guessing hate
mail…

<b>ON THIS WEEK'S SHOW…</b>

<b>Starving in Alaska?</b>
As most of us wait for the stimulus package to work its magic, there are some
folks - Americans - who don’t have time on their side. We'll meet up with an
independent journalist who takes us <B>north to Alaska to shine a light on a
desperate situation</b>.

<b>What would you do if you lost everything?</b>
Two iReporters are traveling across the country <b>asking that ONE QUESTION to
Americans</b> from all walks of life. Some of the answers will surprise you
and a few may make you say, "Umm, what?"

<b>Barack – paper – scissors!</b>
If you thought "roshambo" was a fun, albeit frustrating way to pick a winner,
wait 'til you try the version with none other than the current President of the
United States. I talk with two guys who have created <b>a brilliant way to
make YouTube talk back to YOU</b>.

<b>"Back in my day to go see an Inauguration..."</b>
"Yes Grandpa BJ, we know, <b>you had to walk 4,200 miles to get there</b>!" Umm
actually, he did. That's right, <b>iReporter BJ Hill walked from San Francisco
to the Inauguration</b> and collected messages for <a
href="http://www.whitehouse.gov/";>President Obama</a> along the way.  I find
out why, what America had to say… and how bad BJ’s feet hurt.

<b>"Why yes, I do own the team and, yes, you are fired!"</b>
Hey if you're like me, there've been plenty of times you've screamed at the TV
to <b>fire the multi-million dollar crybaby that just lost your team the big
game</b>... a fantasy for most. Well I talk to <b>a guy who used the Web to not
only buy his own English club soccer team</b> – he’s now using it to manage the
<a href="http://www.myfootballclub.co.uk/";>Fleet United Football Club</a>,
along with the rest of the owners, all 30,000+ of them!
