Dear Mark:

Hello. I am in my early 30's and a junior
Economics major at NYU, in SCPS. I enjoyed your
interview with Bill Moyers.

My Polling place: Washington Heights, NYC. --99 Ft. Washington Ave.

This morning, I had to fill out a sealed envelope
paper ballot, when just a few days ago I went to
the NYC Board of Elections Office near Wall
Street, and I did confirm that I am registered in
the system. And yet the polling place did not
have my record.

Amazing. I would say it's the absurd NYC
bureaucracy, but I fear this nonsense is across
the board.

No wonder people vote early or absentee. And yet
George F. Will expects us to lament the reality
of early voting, as opposed to it all taking
place on one sentimental day.

Other than the time to complete a paper ballot,
my experience was quick and pain free.

Still, there has to be a more efficient way of
using technology to vote along with safeguards
against fraud and theft.

I voted for Obama!

Best Regards,

Ted Germosen
NYC
