William Rivers Pitt tells me that the figure of 30,000, mentioned in his "Ku Klux Klowns," was posted on TPM when he wrote the piece, and that he got it there. According to later coverage, he says, that figure is too low, as there were roughly 80,000 people gathered in DC.
