Bill Risner Discusses Judge Harrington's Decision on the John C. Scott Show

John C. Scott interviews Bill Risner after Judge
Harrington's decision released today stating that
that courts cannot offer prospective relief when
an election is rigged. The rational is that the
executive and legislative branches offer adequate
remedy- even if the elections placing candidates
in the executive and legislative positions are
rigged.

RTA election challengers appealing ballot destruction

TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - Clearing the county's clogged
arteries is what the Regional Transportation
Authority is all about. But the route it took to
get here is still under fire.

"If you have a system where you can cheat and not
get caught, how do you stop that?" said Bill
Risner, an attorney who represents the Pima
County Democratic Party. They challenged the
results of the 2006 RTA election.

"The county owns a machine that they can rig--a
machine at each election to print false results.
They bought a cheating machine. They have a
ballot printing machine. They can print any
ballots they want, mark them any way they want so
they have a system that's easy to cheat," Risner
said.

"Conspiracy theory once advanced has to be true,
and it has been proven and proven again and again
that it's not," said Pima County administrator
Chuck Huckelberry. He said that the election was
fair and upheld by the Arizona Attorney General.

"Continuing to appeal this decision in oppose of
destruction of the ballots is a complete waste of
public money," Huckelberry said.

Now a judge has ruled the ballots be destroyed according to state law.

"They've got all sorts of nit-picks, and the
nit-picks are silly because the issue is what was
the outcome of the election? Did it pass or not?
It passed. It passed overwhelmingly,"
Huckeleberry said.

"A cheater who by computer can do whatever they
want would be more likely to make it a large
margin so that no one would suspect that any
cheating had occurred," Risner said.

Risner said that the county needs a rapid scan
machine that records every ballot. That record
could be given to anyone who wants to use a
computer program to verify the validity of every
ballot. He's appealing destroying the ballots
and asking the appellate court to rule whether
our Superior Court can rule on the election.

Tucson, AZ, September 14th, 2009 - On Wednesday,
September 16, 2009 at 7:00 PM the Loft Cinema
will host a premiere showing of the movie
"Fatally Flawed", a documentary about Pima
County's RTA election. After the film, Attorney
Bill Risner, John Brakey, Jim March and Mickey
Duniho will participate in a question and answer
period after announcing what has been discovered
since the movie was completed.

As the story in "Fatally Flawed" develops, it
becomes evident that what initially appeared to
be a public mandate to expand the city's roads
was a likely case of election fraud. Every step
along the way, citizens seeking answers were met
with resistance from election facilitators, local
politicians and even the state's own attorney
general. Persistent, unanswered questions
generated by the lawsuit and new evidence of
wrongdoing on the part of elections division
personnel led to an equally suspicious
investigation by the Arizona attorney general.
This investigation culminated in a recount
conducted under conditions that made meaningful
public oversight impossible.

Chronological documentation by the movie "Fatally
Flawed" ended on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 when
Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard held a
press conference
<http://www.blip.tv/file/2022123><http://www.blip.tv/file/2022123>
in Tucson to announce the completion of the RTA
ballot hand count examination by his office.
Those present for his pronouncement heard
Goddard declare that he could "find no evidence
that there was tampering with the election."
Later examination of the complete video of
Attorney General
<http://www.blip.tv/file/2022123><http://www.blip.tv/file/2022123>
Goddard's press conference has prompted further
inquiry in much more detail, revealing his
inv°©estigation to be critically incomplete.
Discussion and presentation will take place
after the film at 9:00 PM.
