As we arrived, an armed white guy drove into the crowd at high speed, hit a * *barrier and then shot a black man protecting us. Amazingly, police announced their * *"safety concerns" about crowds inching closer, laying flowers down & protest signs * *reflecting police lights, but merely escorted by arm the attempted murderer walking * *straight up to their lines. Soon, police fired gas on protesters for trifles.
