academic staff for positions in its Colleges of Applied Science to support the
delivery of new programmes (taught in English) :

Lecturers, Senior Lecturers:
Lecturers/Senior Lecturers with experience of teaching
in English in one or more of the following specialisations are required:

Preference will be given to holders of Doctoral
degrees but Master degree holders with relevant
professional qualifications and experience will be
considered.
Qualifications should have been gained by studying
where English is the medium of education.
English Language Teachers
Bachelor's Degree in English Language + CELTA, DELTA
or Trinity TEFL certificates + At least three years of teaching experience
at tertiary level
Master's Degree in English Language + CELTA, DELTA
or Trinity TEFL certificates + At least two years of teaching
experience at tertiary level
Salary & Benefits
Successful applicants will receive a
generous salary package free of income tax in Oman. Benefits include
annual air fare/tickets, free medical treatment in government hospitals and an
end of service gratuity equivalent to one month’s basic salary for each year
worked, provided that at least two years have been completed.
