Gaza is Human tragedy - Not a Muslim Tragedy! Invasion of Gaza has been described a Muslim tragedy and calling for "the muslim of the world unite and join the liberal international forces to defend the Muslim values". There have also been threat of jihadi sucide bombing. But for Peace sake we've marched in London and Washington against the US aggressions calling "George Bush -world's biggest terrorist". Still when condemning the invasion of Gaza we should not forget that there are no innocent followers of any faith or government. Shias and Sunnies had been playing the killing fields for thousand years - we cannot count numbers how many were Shias and Sunnies. How many Arabs, Jews and Christians were killed in Second World War. Historical factors notwithstanding, the *conflict is between Science and the cultural *belief systems. Today we know Muslims have no *exclusive Blood Group identity *which divides them from Jews, Hindus and Christians. Life and Liberty of all citizens is sacrosanct, irrespective of caste, gender, race or religion. To blame the U.S., Israel, India or some European countries, *but 'draw away any critical examination from the real engine of violence: Islamic theology,' said Mr. Hassan Butt, a former active member of an Islamist group in Britain.* "Female education is against Islamic teachings and spreads vulgarity in society," Shah Dauran, the chief of the Taliban regime in Swat district of NWF- Pakistan announced in mosques and broadcast on radio, ordering the closure of all girls' schools with warning parents and teachers of dire consequences. *We have witnessed many such wars. We must think of the ways to break* * the cycle of chauvinist conflicts **in 21st century Space Age equipped with Weapons of Mass Destruction. * * There is no martyrdom in today's warfares *for poor Suicide Bombers. Modern political paradigm *Separation of State and Religion *is not acceptable to Islamic theology. Two big Islamic states - Pakistan and Bangladesh - are carved out of Indian territories. Millions of Hindus and muslims were uprooted. Still, when Indian Parliament was attacked by the jihadi "freedom fighters", Dr. Abdul Kalam was then, President of the Republic. Many popular writers, poets, artists, actors, media professionals and political leaders are proud muslim citizens of secular democratic India. In past President Clinton's sincere Peace efforts were thrown to winds by non-compromising stance of Arafat. Now in the U.S. Obama presidency, the world has another opportunity. Leaders of Muslim countries led by Iranian President Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad may be asked to convene a Conclave of Islamic scholars to declare 1) the sectarian Shia-Sunny hostility Un-Islamic; 2) Honouring the United Nations charter the conclave may accept the democratic paradigm of separation of Religion and State, and 3) with futuristic perspective to recognise the state entity of Israel. Supported by such resolutions, and with Obama in the White House, democratic peoples of Israel and Palestine collectively can rehabilitate Palestinians with housing, schools and hospitals for all displaced citizens. May this be an affirmative Muslim world's response to the the tragedy at Gaza, and the dawn of Obama Presidency.
