Wed, 18 Feb 2009    Jamia Teachers' Solidarity Group  Invites you to the 
release of their Report   'Encounter' at Batla House: Unanswered Questions  A 
group of teachers at Jamia Millia Islamia came together to campaign for truth 
and justice in the aftermath of the encounter at Batla House on 19th September 
under the banner of Jamia Teachers Solidarity Group. The Solidarity Group 
conducted a vigorous civil society campaign, demanding a judicial probe into 
the 'encounter'. Piecing together police statements, press reports, testimonies 
of families and eyewitnesses, and other documentary evidence, the JTSG has 
compiled a report on the 'encounter' and subsequent arrests. The report will be 
released at Jamia Millia Islamia on 20th February (Friday).  The Programme 
details are given
