The Govt. of India (MoF) has closed a competition for selection of design for the Indian Rupee. Would it be nice if we could request them to put all the SHORTLISTED' designs in a web site, so that the citizens could also become part of the selection process. Public could post comments on each of the designs which can bear a popularity tag / rating. The Jury may also consider this popularity tag to determine the finally shortlisted entries. Needless to say that the anonymity of the designers should be maintained until final selection. The interaction may be planned in a similar manner as done by the Sixth Central Pay Commission through their website.
