Subject: BEWARE of greedy hospitals: AlAbeer Polyclinic & Abdullah Saim
Aldahr Hospital (Jeddah)

Dear All

My sister-in-law was admitted with normal 9 months of full term pregnancy
in Saim Aldahr Hospital , Jeddah on 11/05/2009 through their partner
hospital Al Abeer Polyclinics, Azizia. The day she was admitted she gave
birth to 3.6 kg baby girl through cesarean procedure, but she had three
normal deliveries before. Attending nurse mentioned that the mother and
baby are healthy and normal. The baby started crying after several hours,
we have asked nurses for help, they said it is normal we have checked the
girl nothing is abnormal (please note).

Next day on 12/05/2009 Egyptian doctor Rafaat from the hospital called the
father and asked him to come immediately, surprised father rushed to check
whereabouts, he said your baby is very serious and you need to deposit
SR5,000. Doctor attended the baby after 18 hours of delivery, can you
imagine. Baby was misdiagnosed by the Pediatric Dr. Rafaat when she was
having breathing problems. Instead of supplying oxygen through mask he
inserted the tube through the nose that ruptured lungs, resulting in
Pneumo thyrox which in medical terms is very dangerous condition.

Abdullah Saim Aldahr hospital intentionally did to make more money through
ventilator
rent, medicines, blood etc but when the case got critical and went out of
their hands they started to shift the blame on other hospital. We have
seen two more similar cases during our stay with the hospital, one baby
died and another was fortunate to get chance in another hospital.

We tried several hospitals from big to small and from Govt to private when
they see the
report all hospitals refused to accept baby. Intentionally it was
mentioned in the report that baby is still effected with pneumo thyrox,
when it was cleared in three days, as they declared in the final report.
Alhamdulillah one God fearing Consultant accepted to admit the baby in
King Khaled National Guard hospital. Can you believe this ordeal cost the
middle income father SR80,000 (Saudi Riyals Eighty Thousand) in just12
days and to this point baby is critical but Alhamdullillah in safe hands.
We manage to transfer the baby on 21/05/2009, initial check up by the
doctors of National Guard Hospital that baby was given wrong treatment. I
request all to pray for ?Baby Ayesha? and be aware of blood sucking
doctors who are not only abusing but disgracing their professions just for
the greed for money.

Further I request you people if you have any connections with Ministry of
Health, Jeddah, please contact the undersigned we want to put a case
against those against human values we have full proof that the baby is
mistreated, so that no parents suffer as a result of unethical practice
and we welcome our babies with smile on our face.

Please forward to all you know, it is a wake up call to carefully choose
the right hospital when your loving ones are expecting.

Best regards,
