Here is a short introduction of our institution M. D. S. You may please go through this brief brochure. *M*arkazu *D*a’wathi *S*sunniyya is a socio-cultural group of institutions established in 1996 for the development of our Muslim community. It situates at a lovely valley near National Institute of Technology Calicut, 25 kilometers away from Calicut city. The dynamic leadership of Islamic scholars and educational intellectuals made Jamia Markazu Da’wathi Ssunniyya one of the finest educational institutions in Kerala. * * *M*arkazu *D*a’wathi *S*sunniyya has a number of institutions under its fold.** *Institutions* Islamic Da’wa College, Arts College, Computer Academy, Research Centre, Science Laboratory, Al Ihsan Library, Astro Lab, Publication Division, Campus Hostel, Campus Masjid * * *Islamic Da’wa College* *M D S *started an Islamic Da’wa College to create a group of propagators having high academic values, IT tricks, soft skills and deep knowledge in theology and Islamic studies. The poor students completed U.P. level of Madrassa education and passed in the SSLC examination with high grade can apply to Da’wa Course. Conducting an interview and screening test, a specific number of students shall be opted and admitted freely. Completing the course, the students will be capable of answering the questions of modern world, resisting the allegations and threats raised from the part of Zionists and Orientalists. *Higher Secondary Course* The students admitted to Da’wa course are given Higher Secondary courses offered and recognized by SCERT, Govt. of Kerala. Either Science or Commerce subjects can be selected at the students’ option. *U.G. Courses* Finishing the Higher Secondary Education the students can choose the various Under Graduate Courses offered by recognized universities like University of Calicut, Kannur University, Kerala University, etc. Now, Under Graduate Courses like B.A. (English Literature), B.Com, B.Sc. are running at our campus. *P.G. Courses* There are a lot of Post Graduate Courses offered by various recognized universities like Madurai Kamaraj University, Calicut University can be studied from our campus. Master of Commerce, Master of Arts (English, Arabic), Master of Science, etc. are main among them. *Professional Education* The students having high caliber and soft skills will be sent to professional courses such as C.A., M.B.A., M.B.B.S., L.L.B., etc. Jamia Markazu Da’wathi Ssunniyya conducts special coaching classes and workshop for the benefit of the students. *Computer** Academy*** In this modern age of technology, no one can live without the awareness of computer education. Our *M D S *offers a number of computer packages like MS Office, Diploma in Graphic Designing, etc. Brilliant students would be specially given Accounting Packages like Tally and Peach Tree. *Astro Lab* *M*arkazu *D*a’wathi *S*sunniyya has a big telescope in its Astro Lab. The students can see the wonderful sky world and it helps to increase their enthusiasm in astronomic studies. *Al Ihsan Library* Without reading there will be no increase in knowledge. An excellent library consisting of a number of books in various subjects is available for the development of students at our campus. *Science Lab* *M D S* provides full fledged laboratory for Chemistry, Physics and Biology at Higher Secondary Level Courses. The Students are well supported by good qualified and experienced trainers. *Publicaton Division* *M D S Books *has published more than thirty books in various languages like Malayalam, Arabic, English, Kannada and so on. Most of them are comparative studies between Islam, Science and other religions. All books are welcomed by the hearty readers. *Research Centre* To get the questions of the modern world answered, Markazu Da’wathi Ssunniyya set up a research center. Eminent scholars having deep knowledge in Islamic studies research and find out the solution for the problems through Islamic visions. And the net result will be published in the journals and periodicals. *Campus Masjid* There is a beautiful and vast masjid situating at M D S Campus. The students studying at Jamia and the native people living surround the campus are worshiping at this mosque. A lot of programs are being taken place at the same campus masjid. *Campus Hostel* Markazu Da’wathi Ssunniyya gives shelter to the hundreds of students studying in different colleges out of the campus. It provides food and shelter free of cost. The moral environment of the campus gives the students a strong religious culture and awareness. * * * * *New Project of M D S at Venappara* Venappara, wherein the proposed project of Markazu Da’wathi Ssunniyya is to be concreted is a Christian Majority Area. Muslims living there are very less in number and poor in culture. For the religious and social improvement of those Muslims we submit this project before the well-wishers. *Proposed Institutions* Da’wa College at Venappara, Charitable Hospital, Arts & Science College, Masjid at Venapara (being constructed), Hiful Qural College, Students’ Hostel. *Arts & Science** College*** Arts and Science College is one of the proposed mission under Markazu Da’wathi Ssunniyya. By this mission we aim to provide the students qualified material education based on moral culture. The management deem to provide graduations like B.Com, B.Sc., B.A. (English) and different other courses with fully fledged facilities as instructed by the Universities like Calicut University, Kamaraj University, etc. * * *Students Hostel* Students hostel orients a good infra structural facility to the student, who is studying in various institutions like Da’wa College, Arts & Science College, Hifzul Quran College and gives them food and accommodation under this hostel. * * *Hifzul** Quran College*** Markazu Da’wathi Ssunniyya management has launched a project to establish a Hifzul Quran College to accomplish the need of Hifzul Quran. It may be a course of three years. By which a student will be able to recite the Quran from his memory in a good style and rhythm. Another course put forward from the management exceeds to five years which may includes schooling too. *Charitable Hospital* Charitable Hospital is a great mission among the proposed plans of M D S. This mission intends the common poor civilians and the deprived from the main stream of the society. The mission wishes to provide necessary medical treatment and well nourishment to the poor around the hospital centered area. * * *Da’wa College* The Da’wa mission of the Jamia Markazu Da’wathi Ssunniyya will contribute dynamic propagators for the society helping them to visualize their well wishes. For it we give the candidates highly qualified academic education with religious base. Its contributions to the Muslim community shall be unique and visible. * * * * * * * * * * *To You* * * *Dear Sir,* *Markazu Da’wathi Ssunniyya is doing all these functions with the helps of our well-wishers like you.* *To complete our new project mentioned above and to set up a well computer lab, M D S extends its hands to You.** Now we urgently require at least 10 Computers for the Lab to continue the study of our students. * For the smooth functioning of the institutions and well visualization of our missions, it has to spend a huge amount on the way. The monthly expense of this institute is about *Rs. 3,00,000* (Three Lakh Indian Rupees) and now it has a huge burden of debt about *Rs. 8,00,000* (Eight Lakh Indian rupees). And to sponsor and adopt a student for a year *Rs. 14,500* is only. M D S mainly depends on the contributions and assistances made by the generous hands in and outside India.
