It means that five years ago we could start talking about Estonian e-democracy. The purpose of creating TOM was to give citizens a possibility to participate in political decision-making processes. The conference "Democracy in an information society" will be held in Tallinn, in the Conference Center of hotel Viru, in 9th June. Among other lecturers there will also be two guest lecturers from UK - Stephen Coleman is the first e-democracy professor in the world and is a professor at the University of Leeds, Isobel Harding is the director of the Centre of Excellence for e-democracy.
