It is designed for for those involved with government, parliamentary
and civil society online consultations (e-consultations/e-panels, e-
rulemaking, e-petitions, e-public hearings, e-etc.). It is the place
for those interested in online dialogue and deliberation and other
forms of structured online input into governance processes or
facilitated online democratic engagement.

This group is based on the older DO-CONSULT YahooGroup which started

One of the goals of these online groups is to allow you to connect
with others doing similar kinds of work. You can do this by posting
questions to consult@ as well as by networking with others via the
"who's who" member directory. You can see that a number of 56
members thus far have updated their member profiles already:
