Declare a day to celebrate and promotion election content on the Internet. It generated extensive media coverage and gave folks in the trenches of e-democracy/e-politics a chance to celebrate their efforts. Let's broaden that concept to all democracy-related content providers from governments to candidates to bloggers and media. While it may seem like most people in your circles use the Internet for democratic/political purposes, the potential (and reality) is not that well known among the general public. Just like like TV Turn Off Week (I am thinking about proposed a No E-mail Day :-)), after a few years this could really catch on as a day to announce new initiatives, features, and create an excuse to pat yourself on the back for your hard work online.
