See below for registration links. Neighbor.be is a proposed open source social enterprise connecting nearest neighbors online for community building and engagement. I'll be sharing the outline and gathering input as we move forward. By social enterprise, we seek to build on our current 90% volunteer labor base model that requires a 10% subsidy of some kind to add new services that generate a bit more revenue than the real cost to provide that service. For the long run if we seek to support real cost inclusion efforts with Neighbor Issues Forums for example outside of grant funding, we must generate regular income from our online community building activities beyond donations.
