Greetings all,

E-Democracy.org is in the middle of its most important individual
donation drive in our organization's history.

This includes the real cost to host the Democracies Online Newswire.

Please donate today: -

     http://e-democracy.org/donate

We've wonderfully generated hundreds of dollars in donations from
individual neighborhoods and communities -
http://blog.e-democracy.org/posts/2561 - and are getting close to half
way to our $10,000 needed to cover bare minimum technology and help
desk costs next year. Now we need our DoWire supporters to stand-up
and be counted along side our other online communities.

Your donation of any amount will be a vital vote to encourage the
significant volunteer time I continue to put into the Newswire (grants
have never covered this network) and the Open Government Facebook
Group. As E-Democracy's major grants come to a close in a couple weeks
and shift us back into volunteer mode on our powerful local online
civic engagement work (stay tuned for exciting news from our
participant survey) we are also shifting back into more fee for
service work (like helping Poplus.org global outreach commissioned by
mySociety), speaking, and consulting.

Today, a donation for the value you receive here will be incredibly
appreciated and helpful! Donate as a person or an organization:

Tomorrow, think about hiring E-Democracy to help you with your open
government, digital democracy, online community of practice
facilitation, etc. needs or commission a speech, training, or
research. The more we help others succeed, the more we can continue to
be a connecting and *open* sharing engine here and across the open
government and civic technology community.

Thanks!

P.S. Have an announcement to share? I've decided that until we reach
our goal of $10,000 for 2015 hosting, that we will only be in a
position to forward requested announcements from people or
organizations who have donated something to our knowledge sharing
network. Any amount: http://e-democracy.org/donate

Also, if you donate more than $250, I will help you either with advice
or help forward your announcement (if it is clearly within scope) to
the most appropriate and important online groups I monitor across the
e-democracy/open government/civic technology/e-government space
(hundreds of them): http://bit.ly/opengovgroups
