From: Sam Hashemi <[email protected]> Date: Tue, Jul 7, 2015 at 1:40 PM Subject: Hiring for Urban Planning + Tech Hi Fuzz, We're 2014 CfA alums who started a company to revamp public transit (http://getremix.com). We've got crazy traction (40+ cities) and are looking for a bunch more people to join the team. If you've got a passion for urban planning and technology, this is probably the gig for you. We're hiring across the board but business development leads (get on the phone and talk to urban planners) are the highest priority -- job description below. We also need front-end devs, designers, and a director of marketing. Check it: http://getremix.com/jobs Sam CEO, Remix (http://getremix.com) ------ Business Development Lead http://getremix.com/jobs “Cities have the capability of providing something for everybody, only because, and only when, they are created by everybody.” – Jane Jacobs In that spirit, we’re creating technology that empowers cities to be great for everyone. We’re starting with an underserved and core part of infrastructure: public transit. With the right amount of technology, carefully applied, public transit can be reliable, fast, and get you where you need to go. In just a few months, Remix is being used to plan bus systems in 40+ cities including Oakland, Raleigh, and Vancouver. We want to be in 100 by the end of the year. You’re in charge of getting us there. • Pick up the phone every day and talk to a dozen different cities. • Listen. Understand what challenges planners face when doing their work. • Convince planners and their organizations to approach old problems in new ways. • Measure our sales process. Figure out what’s working and what needs improvement. A background in urban planning or enterprise sales is helpful, but raw tenacity is ultimately what we look for. To apply, email [email protected] with a resume and few sentences on why you're right for the role. ―― View topic http://groups.dowire.org/r/topic/6N9WuRlmj46kyEZN8o04wP Leave group mailto:[email protected]?Subject=Unsubscribe
