It's 2017 and there still isn't a machine readable list of MPs… as far as I can tell. I first submitted to parliament.nz seeking a machine-readable list of MPs in November 2010 (the Atom XML list only showed a subset of records). **crickets** Again in June 2012... **crickets** Brenda asked via data.govt.nz on 17 July 2014: "A simple list of who is a MP right now. Name, Party, electorate. In a machine readable format - not pdf or html. Three years ago this was marked as "investigating options" and the status hasn't changed since. Looking at the CSV list of data requests from https:// *diadata.cwp.govt*.nz/requests <https://diadata.cwp.govt.nz/requests> the set of MPs is (excluding duplicates) roughly within the top 10% of most wanted datasets. Brenda & Rowan even met with staff at Parliament via Clare Curran and for a while the Atom feed was fixed. (BTW, it's not clear from the UI what Date represents. Turns out that it matches last updated.)
