They were then pre-notified of their track assignments and upon arrival *Friday* night, were introduced to their fellow trackmates and track leadership. On *Saturday*, track cohorts formed teams, participated in topic-specific discussion groups, and came together at dinner for a panel that discussed politics, technology, and need-to-know insights about the civic tech market and end users' needs. All day *Sunday *teams prepared for judging and took turns doing dry runs of their demos in front of a mandatory pitch practice panel.
