Uh-oh. I think I'm in trouble if I'm having difficulty with the early
steps.

Encouraged by others' good results, I ordered an Orinico Gold PC Card. My
first step was to download the Alpha2 driver, which I installed on my MP
2100 using NCU. I assume I only had to run NCU, and that merely finding an
icon called LucentWaveLANa2 in my Extensions drawer was a sign of success.
However, when I insert the card, I get the following message: "There is a
problem with this card. (Newton cannot recognize this type of card.)"

Also, when I restart, I get the following message: "Unable to activate
Lucent WaveLAN since Newton Device Drivers are not in the system."

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
