Last Friday I received a couple of Newton MessagePad 130s from Shreve Systems -- $29 plus a buck for a case and a bit more for shipping. No cover. No original stylus, but a nice one from Apple.
Been having a great time playing with it, discovering how neat and powerful it is. (I've never used a PDA before.) Getting organized. The Newton is kinda big, but I like it. Being a Newton newebie, I'm looking for good online resources -- a tutorial or guided tour would do wonders in helping my and two of my sons (now Newton addicts as well) get up to speed. The only problem I've run into so far is packages. We've been able to install some software, but we're stymied by the PKG files.
