Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard told President Trump
that U.S. investigators have found voting machines vulnerable to hacking
and result tampering.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard stated Thursday that the
U.S. government has uncovered concrete evidence proving that electronic
voting machines are vulnerable to vote manipulation. Gabbard made the
comments during a cabinet meeting with President Donald Trump, who has
made election integrity a central focus of his administration.

“I’ve got a long list of things that we’re investigating, we have the
best of the best going after this, election integrity being one of
them,” Gabbard said. She told President Trump that investigators have
discovered how hackers can exploit voting systems and alter vote
outcomes. “We have evidence of how these electronic voting systems have
been vulnerable to hackers for a very long time, and vulnerable to
exploitation to manipulate the results of the votes being cast — which
further drives forward your mandate to bring about paper ballots across
the country so that voters can have faith in the integrity of our
elections,” she said during the meeting.

Gabbard’s remarks followed President Trump’s call for a nationwide
return to paper ballots and implementation of voter ID laws. “We’re
going to get rid of these machines and go back to the basics,” Trump
stated earlier this year, reiterating his view that electronic systems
have compromised trust in U.S. elections.

Footage from the meeting was posted on X, capturing the moment Gabbard
informed President Trump about the vulnerabilities in electronic voting
systems. Additional clips shared on social media show her emphasizing
the urgency of restoring voter confidence through the use of paper
ballots.

Gabbard’s findings come as part of a broader intelligence investigation
under the Trump administration aimed at strengthening election security
and addressing past obstructions to public information. Her office has
reportedly been coordinating with multiple agencies to expedite the
verification and release of sensitive documents.
