Greetings,

I just spent over half an hour outside listening for night migrants. There
seems to be a pretty nice movement of birds. I was hearing at least one bird
every four seconds, usually two and at times three in that same period. I
was listening from 22:45 - 23:15. Most birds sounded like Swanson's Thrush
but I did hear Bobolink, Veery and Ovenbird as well. Along with a lot that I
couldn't ID. All of this was discernable even with the noise associated with
I-86 (nee Rt. 17). I could only imagine how good it must be to listen from
the quiet countryside.

Great Night Birding to All!
