Every once in a while I go back through my mystery call file to see if (with a little more experience gained), I can ID one or two more.
The attached call has bugged me for some time. Sounds a bit finchy to me, but time of night (12:30 AM) doesn't coincide with predawn movement. Only finch possibility left around my house in May would most likely be House (outside chance at a Purple). House sparrow possibly? First time I heard it, cadence struck me as shorebird, but I have never been able to match it to a particular species. I am stumped. Thanks for any help.
