BANGALORE,INDIA:In a move that can keep people connected to e mail account even without Internet connectivity, software giant Microsoft has made Hotmail accessible in India through SMS for free.
The users will get email alerts of the account for free through SMS. The users can also respond to through SMS. Out of the 506 million mobile users in India, only 18 million have GPRS on their mobile phones. With email access available only to a meager 4 per cent of the total mobile user base 'Hotmail alert on your SMS' breaks all technological barriers and helps you stay connected anytime, anywhere. All you need is a Hotmail / Live ID and a mobile phone "Today staying connected is very important.
