As you are a developer, i would suggest you to start learning Application
Security.

To start with, visit owasp.org (standard for App Sec) and read through it
thoroughly and understand the TOP TEN vulnerabilities. Download OWASP
Testing Guide which will detail all the vulnerabilities. This will give you
a complete understanding of all the vulnerabilities and how to identify
them.

Wishing you all the best and keep posting queries if you stuck anywhere.
