*Job Description:* The IT Security Lead will be part of Global Information Security Team and will be accountable for design, implementation and maintenance of IT Security controls. This role will be based in Hyderabad and will report to Chief Information Security Officer of Virtusa. *Key Roles & Responsibilities:* · Serve as an expert advisor in design, implementation and maintenance of IT Security Controls · Develop and maintain technical security standards for key IT Infrastructure components · Conduct security risk assessment of key IT Infrastructure and Application Projects and ensure security risks are identified and managed early in the project life cycle · Conduct period security reviews of IT Infrastructure and Applications and ensure controls have been implemented correctly and are operating as intended · Evaluate open source and commercial tools and recommend appropriate solutions to remediate control deficiencies identified during reviews · Review security metrics reported by support teams and ensure they are complete and accurate · Provide periodic update on effectiveness of existing controls to senior management · Perform Vulnerability Assessment, Configuration Assessment and Penetration Testing of IT Infrastructure and applications · Research & Report on latest trends & advancements in IT Security technologies · Manage responses to external and internal audits on IT Security controls · Maintain and strengthen Information Security (ISO27001) and Business Continuity (ISO22301) compliance at Virtusa *Education & Certification:* · Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Engineering · CISSP or any SANS GIAC certification · MCSE Security or CCSP *will be a plus* · Information Security Degree *will be a big plus* *Experience & Skills:* · 10+ years of IT Experience preferably in IT Services or Banking Sectors · 5+ years of IT Security Experience preferably in IT Infrastructure Security · Strong knowledge of Windows Security or Network Security · Strong knowledge of Cloud Security best practices and tools · Strong Knowledge of ADFS/SSO or PKI · Strong knowledge of current threat landscape including common attack types, malware capabilities and well publicized security incidents · Very good oral and written communication skills · Experience in implementing security controls for public cloud environments *will be a plus* · Experience in managing Active Directory or core network infrastructure* will be a plus* · Experience in managing Anti-Virus management & Patch Management tools *will be a plus* Please reach out to me if any one interested.
