If you have TCP wrappers enabled, it could be that your requests to rpcbind are being rejected. Look for indications of rejected connections in /var/adm/messages. TCP wrappers is configured with /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny. Mike -- Mike Gerdts http://mgerdts.blogspot.com/
