There hasn't been any work yet to integrate directly with Sun Cluster, but we
have taken pains to maintain full backward compatibility with the traditional
dfstab method. What we do is maintain the dfstab file for those applications
that currently only know about dfstab. Over time, Sun Cluster could use the
API that is developing as part of sharemgr. The API is currently private since
we are learning more as we go and as we attempt to also support other protocols.

Back to dfstab. Shares that are added/modified by editing dfstab are detected
and the SMF repository updated appropriately. If sharemgr is used to modify
the configuration, it is currently reflected back to the dfstab file. Long
term, this backward compatibility will be EOLed but for now we wanted to make
sure to continue to work with things like SC or HA-NFS.
