You need to do a CTL-C once you do the mount.

But I've been investigating the bug from an internal source which got a 
network trace.

Can you tell me what your default value is in /etc/nfssec.conf on the 
server?

[thud at ultralord ~/scps]> grep ^default /etc/nfssec.conf
default        1    -    -    -            # default is AUTH_SYS

My guess is that you have 0 instead of 1.
