We have a new system, mostly supermicro (16 bay chassis, x7dca-3 motherboard, 2
x AOC-SAT2-MV8 controllers), on which I've installed opensolaris w/zfs. We
have it populated with 8 disks in mirrored pairs across controllers. In
testing the setup, when I pull out a disk, the entire system freezes until I
put I put it back in, which seems to defeat the purpose of mirroring. I don't
have this problem on my system at home running on an asus p5kc motherboard and
the on-board ich9 sata controller, but I'm not sure where in the chain the
issue might be...
