I have Sun Cluster 3.2 running an HA-NFS service. I have about 180 shares in my dfstab for the resource group. Every time a filesystem is mounted/unmounted (for example by automount) on a filesystem that is not related to the HA-NFS, Sun Cluster reissues the shares...All 180 of them. This is causing the NFS service itself to hang.
This does not seem reasonable to me. I thought that share a really cheap operation in the scheme of things. Any idea? SunCluster 3.2 HA-NFS S10U3 NFSv4 Solaris clients NFSv3 Solaris, linux clients This message posted from opensolaris.org
