Hello, I am seeing an issue with one of my boxes that I am mounting a public NFS share.
the issue is whenever the public NFS share is mounted via the /etc/vfstab, any user who attempts to login into the box must wait over 1 minute to receive their prompt. I found that the work around for this is to mount the public NFS share manually via the mount command, in the case or reboots and so on, that would me someone would always have to manually re-mount it. I came across 1 document on the web stating there is a issue with translation between the /etc/vfstab and the /etc/mnttab, so that is why using the /etc/vfstab will not work.
