Udo, I offered it up as a candidate. We would have to first prove that was the issue you hit. And your earlier email about quality and stability actually is reflected in the state of this bug. I've got a fix for it and I rejected the fix during unit testing. I hit another bug and refused to integrate it into OpenSolaris. At the time, I thought the new issue was in my fix, but now I am not so sure. But in either event, the issue occurred more often with my fix. Why didn't I investigate that issue then? We had one person hitting the bug and I had other higher priority bugs to work on and other deliverables. It was, and still is, a judgment call we have to make every day. How are you encountering the issue you are seeing? Is it something you are seeing when you manually try to mount something? Is it an issue in a script that access an automount? Thanks, Tom
