[nfs-discuss] nfsiod counterpart

Does Solaris have any thing similar to the nfsiod of FreeBSD which is a kernel 
process runing on an NFS client machine to service asynchronous I/O requests to 
its server. If not, how does Solaris achieve this kind of asynchronization?
