I have not had any progress on this personally, but we have sent live-cores to Sun-Japan, and well as all other details they requested.
However, as a work around, the NOC staff is re-mounting the NFS mounts once a day. One server at a time. This has prevented the issue from happening. We still see the log entries, the full hang of NFS mounts has not happened, so far.
