Well, I got it working somewhat - I'm able to share it read/write now by chmod'ing the /tank/nfstest2 folder to 777. Not sure thats exactly what I want to do for production, but it works for testing at least.
The wierd thing on it though is this - I can get it to connect to /tank/nfstest on my ethernet connection (1gbit) but I cannot get it to connect on the Infiniband card I've got set up. The systems can ping each other, and when I telnet from the windows system to port 2049 it connects fine, but when I try to set up an NFS mount on the windows system and give it identical parameters except for the IP address, it fails. >From the testing that I've done, I think NFS is binding to the Infiniband NIC, >but I get a near immediate failure when I try to connect to it using >Infiniband. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ nfs-discuss mailing list [email protected]
