Please let your vendor know that you really need to escalate CR 6976554. Please let them know that Solaris RPE (sustaining) is aware about the root cause and there is no patch released yet with the issue fixed. I think the suggestion to install 144532-01 is just a standard way how services works. They need to be safe to do not escalate something already fixed. But this situation is different a bit...
