Hi Dominique, Anands, we do have an active-passive failover as Gerrit Code Review (the OpenSource version) does not support yet multi-master.
Google’s Gerrit infrastructure is an active-active across the globe as they have customised Gerrit Code Review to leverage their BigTable distributed storage on their data-centers. Our uptime however is typically higher than most Git server hosting, the uptime figures from PingDom for 2015 are: - January: 99.96% - February: 100% - March: 99.95% - April: 100% - May: 99.85% This morning slowdown (that resulted in an inaccessible service) lasted for 40’ (7:55 to 8:35 BST) and everything should be back as normal. As soon as Gerrit (the OpenSource version) will start supporting full multi-master, we will then be able to provide a near 100% up-time on GerritHub.io.
